This large open layout warehouse's sole purpose is to provide the practice space for both performers and their equipment. Spaces can be partitioned off by hanging large tarps from the industrial-looking ceiling.
This light and airy room is equipped with the items found in state of the art studios. Full length mirrors line the length of two entire walls, ballet barres installed on the other two walls. The wooden floor is sprung to help prevent injury.
The dorms are well kept and very cheap however, the bathrooms are communal and each room has three beds (one single and bunk beds) shoved into what many would call cramped quarters. There is only space for a desk, microwave, and mini-refrigerator. The affordability is great for those starving artists!
The Santa Monica Pier is open 365 days a year. Admission is free. The pier offers dining, shopping, fishing; and better yet, carnival rides, aquarium, street vendors, and a historic 1922 Carousel. Don't forget the view of the great Pacific ocean.
Although much more expensive than the CS dormitories, these are normal one and two bedroom apartments. The bus stops right in front but you will still have to walk about a half mile to get to the CS Headquarters if you take it.
Picturesque and urban, this shopping center offers retail, specialty boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and entertainment venues on tree lined city streets.
The Wharf, Bar and Grill... though mostly known for their bar. A classic restaurant bar with classic rock music playing in the background and various sports games playing on randomly placed LCD screens. Famous for going by your word and not what your ID says...
